Track, earned 4 varsity letters – MVP, IHSAA state qualifier in shot put, school-record holder in shot put and discus, sectional champion in shot put and discus, 1979.

Basketball, earned 2 varsity letters – Team captain, 1979.

Football, earned 3 varsity letters – 2-time Elkhart County scoring champion, 1978-79; Team MVP, 1978-’79; set school records for career rushing yards (2,284), career attempts (428), season attempts (185), career points (170), season points (96), career touchdowns (28), season touchdowns (16) and single-game touchdowns (4); was first Panther to rush for 1,000 yards in a season (1,012 in 1979).

College –

Football, earned 3 varsity letters – 1st team all-conference, 1981; 2nd team all-conference, 1980; Defensive MVP, 1981.

Track & field, earned 4 varsity letters – Captain, 1982.

Coaching –
