LOWELL HILE, Jefferson H.S., 1949

  • Competed in softball, baseball, track and basketball
  • Helped Jefferson to first-ever sectional basketball games in 1947
  • Started athletic programs at Union School in 1954 and coached basketball, softball, baseball, volleyball and track for 30 sea­sons
  • Currently (1994) teaches at Nappanee Middle School
  • Graduated from Goshen College and Andrews University
  • Competed regularly as a pitcher in Goshen fast pitch softball league.
