* Four-year letterwinner in volleyball, tennis and basketball, one-year letterwinner in track

* Earned MVPs in volleyball and tennis

* Fast pitch softball – played from 1972-78 with Swathwood Roadrunners, Elkhart Komets and Goshen Sport Spot, the 1978 ASA Class A state champions

* College – Indiana University (1981 graduate), four-year participant, two-year letterwinner in softball, helped IU to three Big Ten championships

* College – began as a walk-on athlete in 1978, earned full scholarship in 1980 and 81.
