Cassie (Bjurstrom) Jarrard

Cassie Bjurstrom-Jarrard, Northridge High School (2003)

At time of induction, holds Lady Raider track and field records for the 200-meter dash, long jump and 4 x 400 relay. Scored school-record 834.25 points in NHS girls’ track and field. Earned four letters and helped team win two NLC titles.

Won seven individual titles in Northern Lakes Conference track and field. Three-time all-NLC performer. Eight-time individual Sectional champion, two-time individual Regional winner and seven-time State qualifier.

Four-time Most Valuable team member, three-time best sprinter. Crystal Valley Exchange Club “Athlete of the Year.”

Won three letters in girls soccer, Mental Attitude award winner in 2002, All-NLC first team in 2002.

Two-year varsity track and field letter winner at Indiana Wesleyan University. Individual NCCAA event champion. NCCAA All-American in four events.

Track and field assistant coach at Indiana Wesleyan. NCCAA “Coaching Staff of the Year Award.”
